SUMMARY:
Newly arrived Displaced are not allowed outside safehouse as part of an adjustment period. The purpose of this period is to learn about New Amsterdam and this Universe, as well as set up necessary information to facilitate life in this Universe, primarily a new identity. This identity is provided by the Morningstar Agent El, communicating through the implant through text.
Individuals met during this time: Riku Masterson (assisting in fixing haircut), Dick Grayson (friendly discussion, demonstrates apparent teleportation ability, provides guide), Marian Hawke (assisting in fixing haircut), Rey "Kira" Solo (provides good quality clothing, discusses job opportunities, offers history learning materials), Tim Gutterson (giving advice).

SUMMARY:
First conscious memory of New Amsterdam. Awoke on a vehicle with other passengers. Dressed in medical scrubs with a white hoodie. Others dressed the same clothing, all these people are assumed to be other Displaced. Two distinct passengers on bus: one individual, tall, wearing what appears to be thick armor, has female voice; one individual wearing medical garb, no other distinction. While on vehicle was hooked up to IV and unable to perform independent action. Displaced are taken off vehicle in pairs at different locations. IV contains sedative and compulsion drugs. Confirmed partners: Olivia Dunham and Dick Grayson. Location: community meal celebrating Lunar New Year festival. After being taken off the vehicle instructions are given by armored individual: go to the tent (where the meal was being served) and eat a good meal (allowing for a varying definition of "good meal"), do not look for cops, do not steal from or hurt anyone, and keep an eye on partner until people with "the glow" show up. Other information provided in instructions: the people with the blue glow will prove it, but someone without the blue glow is also looking for all Displaced. Olivia Dunham and Dick Grayson decide to split up for safety. Olivia Dunham is approached by Han Solo. Han Solo is unwilling to prove blue glow in crowd, citing that people are looking for it and being seen with the blue glow could elicit a reaction from observers resulting in death. Olivia Dunham follows Han Solo into a secluded area, and Olivia Dunham holds Han Solo's hand with skin contact. Direct skin contact between Displaced allows each individual to feel the feelings of other Displaced in contact and a blue glow will emit from the chest of all involved Displaced. Han Solo brings Olivia Dunham to the safehouse, location omitted for safety. Morningstar Agent Gaby gives directions to newly arrived Displaced. Olivia Dunham chooses sleeping cot and change of clothes and sleeps. Upon waking compulsory effects from drugs in IV during transport are gone.
